Registration is open for the second edition of the IRONMAN 70.3 series race in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. After the success of the debut race, the organizers aim to attract even more triathletes and turn the event into a city-wide sports celebration.

In the first edition of the race, over 1,500 triathletes from dozens of countries participated. The event received highly positive reviews, with participants particularly praising the swim course organized right in the city center and the picturesque bike route around Hradec Králové.

Next year’s event will take place from August 15-17. The weekend will kick off with the evening City Lights Run, on Saturday, young athletes will participate once again in the Pho3nix IRONKIDS Hradec Králové, and the sports excitement will peak on Sunday during the two main races: IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové and the accompanying 5150 Hradec Králové—an Olympic distance competition.

This is a major event for our city and the entire region. We’re entering the second year richer in valuable experience from the first edition. We’ll use it to prepare an even better event, not only for the triathletes but also for the entire local community.
Roman Šinkovský, Race Director
