The Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań event will involve temporary changes to traffic organization and public transport schedules.

Part of Grunwaldzka, Bukowska, and Przybyszewskiego streets in Poznań will be closed on Friday from 21:30 to 23:00.

The sporting excitement begins already on Friday evening – September 5 at 22:00, when participants of the Night Run Poznań take to the course. The 5 km route will run along Grunwaldzka, Przybyszewskiego, and Bukowska streets, with the start and finish located at the Poznań International Fairgrounds. As a result, between 21:30 and 23:00, Grunwaldzka and Bukowska streets (from Roosevelta St. to Przybyszewskiego St.) as well as Przybyszewskiego St. (only the eastern lane towards Jeżyce, between Grunwaldzka St. and Bukowska St.) will be closed to traffic. On intersecting streets, traffic gates will be set up to allow crossing, supervised by traffic services.

Traffic disruptions on September 7 in Poznań and the Poznań and Szamotuły Counties

On Sunday, September 7, at 8:00 a.m., the first athletes competing in the Olympic distance will begin their triathlon in Kiekrz. At 9:30 a.m., participants of the Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań will enter the waters of Lake Kierskie. They will face 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21.1 km of running. The Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań will last until approximately 18:30, when the final athlete is expected to cross the finish line at the MTP grounds.

The cycling course of the Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań will pass through the municipalities of Tarnowo Podgórne, Dopiewo, Buk, and Duszniki. Sections of provincial roads 306 and 307 will be temporarily closed to traffic.

Traffic disruptions on the Buk – Duszniki – Wilczyna road are expected between 9:00 and 14:30.

Between 7:00 and 12:00, the following streets will also be closed to traffic: Chojnicka – Podjazdowa – Kierska – Sadowa in Kiekrz, Kobylnicka – Lusowska in Sady, and Poznańska – Nowa – Zakrzewska in Lusowo. In Poznań, Bukowska Street will be closed from 7:00 to 15:30.

Special navigation and hotline

To make things easier for residents and drivers, a number of information measures will be introduced. Along the race route, yellow information boards have been placed with details on the date and hours of road closures for each section. Drivers can also use the free Waze navigation app, which will take into account all road closures related to the event when planning routes.

Additionally, a special hotline will be available at +48 500 261 000, where you can get detailed information and advice about detours during the event. The hotline will operate at the following times:
– Friday, September 5: 20:00 – 23:00;
– Saturday, September 6: 10:00 – 20:00;
– Sunday, September 7: 7:00 – 17:00.
